11 May 2022 sbkg & associés advises KANAM GRUND for the acquisition of an emblematic building located in the Opéra district from GCI
sbkg & associés advised KanAm Grund Group in the acquisition of a Haussmann-style real estate complex located at 5 – 7 rue des Italiens, 11 rue Taitbout and 14 – 16 rue du Helder in Paris (9th district) from Générale Continentale Investissements (GCI).
The building is located in the Opéra district of Paris (9th arrondissement) and has 7,687 square metres of floor space. It is the headquarters of Le Monde, the financial arm of the Ministry of Justice and one of WeWork’s Parisian flagships.
Entirely restructured by CGI to enhance outdoor spaces (rooftop and central courtyard) and integrate new services such as meeting rooms, relaxation areas, games rooms and coffee areas, the building also contains 78 parking spaces.
The building is fully leased to WeWork under a 12-year fixed lease.
